In his letter to Congress, Attorney General William Barr noted that Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his team issued “more than 2,800 subpoenas, executed nearly 500 search warrants, obtained more than 230 orders for communication records, issued almost 50 orders authorizing use of pen registers, made 13 requests to foreign governments for evidence, and interviewed approximately 500 witnesses.“
Barr’s summary of that work filled slightly less than four pages – and half a page of that was Barr’s announcement that he’d decided not to charge Donald Trump with obstruction of justice.
That’s not going to cut it. The American people deserve the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth: good or bad, collusion or no. The American people deserve to see the Mueller Report in its entirety.

For the sake of every single voter, Republican or Democrat – for the sake of our democracy – I want everyone to know that our government has integrity. The best outcome for our country would be proof that Donald Trump didn’t obstruct the investigation into a hostile foreign power’s sabotage of our democracy.
Unfortunately, that’s probably too much to hope for.
Everything Donald Trump has done, from the moment he declared his candidacy, has shown his staggering contempt for the will of the American people, for human decency, for democratic ideals, and for the rule of law.
Given that this administration has shown again and again that they’ll go to any length to shield Donald Trump from accountability to the law, the American people simply can’t trust Barr’s decision not to bring obstruction charges.
If we’re going to restore the American people’s faith in our institutions, the Department of Justice must make the entire Mueller Report public.
